Privacy policy

This page explains what information Govt Services Made Simple collects, why, and what we do with it. It describes how the site works today; when anything changes — for example when advertising or analytics is added — this page is updated before that change goes live.

Reading the guides

You do not need an account to read anything on this site. We do not set advertising or tracking cookies. Like any website, our server records basic technical information for each request (such as the page asked for, the time, and your IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and working. These logs are kept for a limited time and are not used to identify you.

When you contact us

If you use the contact or correction form, we store your name, your email address and your message so we can reply and fix any mistake you report. We do not use them for marketing and do not sell or share them. Please do not include personal identity or account details in your message — we never need them.

What we never collect

We never ask for Aadhaar, UAN, PAN or bank account numbers, passwords or OTPs, and we never accept identity document uploads. The official tasks our guides describe are completed on official government portals, which have their own privacy policies.

Editors

Only the people who write and review guides sign in. Their sign-in uses Google; we store their name, email and profile picture address, and a sign-in cookie that keeps them signed in.

Links to other sites

Guides link to official government portals and notices. Those sites are run by their own owners, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Advertising and analytics

The site does not currently show advertising or use third-party analytics. If we introduce Google services such as Search Console, Analytics or AdSense, this section will describe what they collect, how cookies and similar technologies are used, how to manage consent, and how Google uses that information, before they are switched on.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete a message you sent, or ask what we hold about you, through the contact page.
