NSP scholarship last date to apply again

If you won one of two merit-based scholarships, you can apply again on NSP until 31 October 2026.

Steps

  1. Open the National Scholarship Portal
    Go to scholarships.gov.in the browser on your phone or computer.
    Open this page
  2. Read the Announcements notice on applying again
    Look for the notice about applying again for the two merit-based schemes. It lists the three closing dates.
  3. Open the Students menu
    It is in the top menu of the home page.
  4. Click Apply For Scholarship
    You will find it listed under the Students menu.
  5. Click Student under Login
    Pick Student from the choices under Login.
  6. Select the scheme you got last year
    Tap the scheme that gave you your scholarship.
  7. Send the form by the last date
    Send it on or before the last date.
  8. After the last step
    Send your form before the last date shown in the date pictures above.
    Your college checking your form and the second official check of your form come later, on the dates shown above.
    After you log in, use Application Status on the home page to follow your form.
    If something goes wrong, use NSP Helpdesk or Grievance Registration on the home page.

Do not pay anyone to apply; any fee is paid only on the official portal.

If something goes wrong

Never share your OTP (One-Time Password) or password with anyone who asks
No official office, bank or helpline will ask for your OTP, password or PIN by phone, SMS or chat. Type your details only on the official website, and hang up on anyone who asks for them.
Not sure you can apply again on NSP
This window is only for applying again for a scholarship you already received. Read the Announcements notice, which names just two schemes. If yours is not one of them, this window is not for you.
I have a disability and cannot submit my NSP form
The Announcements page says to log in to the UDID (Unique Disability ID) portal first and agree to share your UDID details. Then apply on NSP.
The face check on NSP shows error 904
Update the face-check app from the Play Store, as the Announcements page says. The notice names it the UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) AadhaarFACERD App. Then try again.
